The Comic that started it all…

Kara has been rattling around my brain since around 2016, and initially, I intended to tell her story through a comic/graphic novel. In 2018, I actually finished and released the first chapter, which took me ~6 months to complete.

Although I was quite happy with how it turned out at the time, I realised that it wasn’t necessarily the best way to tell her story, as it simply took too long (lol!), and so because of this, I revisited the idea of writing a novel, something I’d initially dismissed.

The story has changed quite a bit from its early days, but for those that have read the first book, you might recognise the rough blueprint for the first two chapters still present in this comic.

Most of this makes no sense, but… its still fun, and I’m oddly proud of it.
